What brought you to Liberty Life Yoga?
  • I have always tried to maintain a healthy lifestyle and spend a moderate amount of time exercising, but something that distinguishes yoga from other physical activities that I personally value is its ability to reduce stress and relax the mind.
What is it that you LOVE about practicing with Liberty Life Yoga?
  • Yoga practice with Liberty Life Yoga creates a very enjoyable and warm atmosphere as you get to know the teachers personally and gain awareness regarding meditation and breathing practices. ​
What pose are you currently working with? Your favourite pose? Or a pose that you find challenging? Why?
  • Currently I am focused on strengthening my core. One of my favourite poses has to be side plank because it engages a number of muscles as well as increases endurance and makes you pay attention to breathing, which is crucial in yoga. On the other hand, the pose that I am facing most challenges with is the bridge pose because I feel like it requires a lot of abdominal work and practice. ​

Tell us a bit about your yoga journey...
  • I have never been interested in yoga until the beginning of my university studies. My perspective of yoga greatly changed when I started my practice with LLY because it allowed me to get to know my body and connect with my mind. After a certain period of time, I began to notice how my physical and mental well-being began to improve which has led to positive changes not only in my studies, but in my everyday life.
