Yoga is an excellent practice for relaxation and sleep, and is particularly helpful either in the morning or as you're going to bed. You can make yoga a part of your morning and/or evening routine to feel relaxed, refreshed, and well centered each day.
With the right mattress, yoga can be practiced in bed while you're waking up or as you're going to sleep. While innersprings may be too bouncy, or foam mattresses may cause you to sink into the bed too much, a hybrid mattress tends to be the best choice to allow for movement without too much sinking or bounce.
You can try this yoga morning routine in the morning or at night. In the morning, start with corpse pose and end with cat-cow, and at night, do the opposite order.
